Eleveight AI expands its AI factory in Armenia

High demand for AI computing resources is driving Eleveight AI's expansion to 40 MW of capacity

Yerevan, Armenia | July 6, 2026

Eleveight AI is a technology company founded in Armenia that develops high-performance computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI), contributing to the growth of AI Infrastructure, Sovereign AI and High Performance Computing (HPC) technologies in the region. The company's goal is to build world-class AI Factories that will be available to organizations, research centers and technology companies both in Armenia and in international markets.

On June 1, 2026, Eleveight AI launched the first AI Factory in Armenia and the South Caucasus powered by NVIDIA Blackwell technology, an important step in developing the country's AI ecosystem. Just one month later, the company is announcing the start of a new expansion phase: its initial computing capacity has been fully booked, and market demand has exceeded initial forecasts.

Eleveight AI Expands Its AI Factory in Armenia

The initial computing capacity of the region's first AI Factory powered by NVIDIA Blackwell technology sold out just one month after launch. To meet demand, Eleveight AI has already started the second phase of its expansion.

"The response came faster than we expected. Our initial computing capacity was fully booked within just a few weeks, and we are already building the next part of the first phase (Stage 2). This confirms that demand for sovereign, high-end AI computing infrastructure in the region is real. Our goal is to expand that infrastructure responsibly and strengthen Armenia's position as a regional AI Hub," says Arman Aleksanyan, co-founder and CEO of Eleveight AI.

Capacity Expansion and Technical Details

The factory's current 1.5 MW of capacity has been fully booked. In the first phase, the company will triple it to 5 MW, and by the end of the second phase total capacity will reach 40 MW.

This pace of growth reflects rising demand for AI Computing Infrastructure from both Armenia and international markets.

The AI Data Center, built in the settlement of Gagarin in Gegharkunik Province, is the first in Armenia and the South Caucasus to run on NVIDIA Blackwell technology. It is the first phase of a $120 million investment program, of which $70 million has already been invested.

The center currently runs on 512 NVIDIA Blackwell B300 GPUs and serves clients in Armenia and internationally, offering both Dedicated Infrastructure and Shared Infrastructure models.

International and Government Reactions

NVIDIA Vice President Rev Lebaredian said of the initiative:

"Agentic AI and Physical AI are transforming data centers into factories that produce intelligence. By deploying NVIDIA Blackwell infrastructure in Armenia, Eleveight AI is laying the foundation for a sovereign AI ecosystem, enabling researchers, startups and organizations across the region to build, train and deploy cutting-edge AI models."

The AI Data Center was officially launched on June 1, 2026, at the "Unveiling the Core" event, attended by government officials, representatives of the tech sector and international partners.

The launch of the project was announced by Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, who stressed the initiative's strategic importance for Armenia:

"The AI factory lays one of the cornerstones of Armenia's future economy. With this project, Armenia becomes not only a consumer and user of advanced technologies, but also a country that creates them and offers them to the global market."

AI Infrastructure Market Outlook

Demand for Sovereign AI Infrastructure continues to grow rapidly worldwide. Companies, research centers and government bodies are increasing their investment in GPU Computing, High Performance Computing (HPC) and AI Data Centers to train and run large-scale AI models.

According to a Fortune Business Insights forecast, the global AI Infrastructure market will reach $1.31 trillion by 2034.

In response to these trends, Eleveight AI keeps expanding the capabilities of its AI Factory, aiming to meet the growing demand of both local and international clients and to develop the region's AI ecosystem.

Eleveight AI's Next Step

The high demand seen in the launch phase and the fully booked computing capacity show that the need for modern AI computing infrastructure in the region is already a reality.

As the next phases are completed, Eleveight AI plans to bring its total capacity to 40 MW, expand the capabilities of its AI Factory powered by NVIDIA Blackwell technology and keep strengthening Armenia's position as a regional AI Hub.

The company's long-term vision is to build AI Infrastructure that meets international standards and enables businesses, research organizations, startups and government bodies to use high-performance AI Computing resources, accelerating the development and adoption of artificial intelligence technologies in Armenia and the region.
