Job description
TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is looking for a Drawing specialist to join the Educational Workshops team within the Centers Operations Division to lead Drawing workshops in Dilijan.
The Workshops team facilitates mentor-led sessions that allow students to deepen their skills in creative and technology fields. These sessions build on the knowledge students gain through self-learning and provide opportunities to apply concepts through hands-on activities and practical projects. The team focuses on high-quality workshop delivery, strong student engagement, and alignment with TUMO’s curriculum to ensure a consistent and impactful learning experience across all centers.
Requirements
- Lead Drawing workshops, project Labs and Learning Labs for TUMO’s students.
- Work in Dilijan but travel to other TUMO locations at least 2-3 times a year for month-long workshops, when needed.
- Collect and evaluate students’ results at the completion of every workshop, project Lab or Learning Lab and store them for their portfolios.
- Examine students’ self-learning results and provide daily feedback to them
- Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in the specified field
- Experience with digital illustration
- Experience in education and ability to work with teenagers is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and public speaking ability
- Software knowledge: Adobe Photoshop
- Language: Armenian (required), English (preferred)
- Strong research skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain deadlines and ensure high productivity
