We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join our dynamic. As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks, supporting our team, and helping to create a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in office management or administrative roles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment and troubleshooting.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work three days a week on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Be a point person for maintenance, mailing, procurement, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands.
- Oversee general office operations, maintain office conditions, and arrange necessary repairs.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring all items are invoiced and paid on time.
- Take ownership of asset registration and keep all asset lists up to date.
- Coordinate with the IT staff on all office equipment.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and preparing necessary materials for their arrival.
- Ensure conference rooms are always organized and prepared for meetings.
- Collaborate with management to streamline office processes and improve efficiency.
- Engage in planning for a variety of internal team-building events, including full cycle event planning (venue selection, transportation, activities, food).
