Data Scientist

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science (not just analytics or Python development)
• Strong theoretical understanding of ML/statistical methods and their practical applications
• Proven experience building and deploying machine learning models

** Deep expertise in:**

• Statistical analysis and experimental design
• Machine learning algorithms (clustering, neural networks, tree-based methods, etc.)
• Model evaluation and validation techniques

MLOps experience required:

• Model deployment and serving
• ML pipeline orchestration
• ML workflow tools
• Model monitoring and versioning
• Proficiency with Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Experience with SQL and working with large datasets
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into data science solutions
• Excellent communication skills and technical leadership experience
• Comfortable with Git and collaborative development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with computer vision tasks (classification, segmentation, OCR)
• Cloud platform experience (GCP)
• Experience with recommender systems
• Background in e-commerce or similar data-rich environments
• Experience with LLMs and RAG systems
• Experience building ETL pipelines and data engineering concepts
