Senior Backend Engineer, AI
Job description
By Joining Picsart AI Research(PAIR) team as a Senior Backend Engineer, you will get the unique opportunity to work on building and scaling our AI Infrastructure and develop services that are being hit by massive amounts of live traffic as of 150M+ MAUs. Your strong software engineering experience will be an asset to developing and deploying scalable and reliable microservices.
You will have the opportunity to work with technologies like Python, FastAPI/Flask, MongoDB/Redis, RabbitMQ, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Gitlab.
Requirements
- Preferably BS/MA degree in Computer Science or other quantitative fields
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably with Python
- Experience in building scalable microservices
- Knowledge of Computer Science, Algorithms, Data Structures, Distributed systems, OOP, OOD
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and logging/monitoring solutions
- Advanced written and verbal English communication skills
- You need to be able to present complex information in a simple way.
Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art microservices that serve our AI tools to 150M+ MAUs
- Work with the Infrastructure team to build CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with stakeholders PM’s and Researchers to deliver new features
- Mentor and review other engineers.
