Iguan Systems is seeking a a highly skilled and hard working PHP/Laravel Developer for a long term project. This full stack development role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining and deployment of various backend APIs and web applications. Troubleshoots, identifies and resolves performance problems. Collaborate with peers on best practices and promote knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fast learner and able to understand new technologies and concepts quickly.
• Team player with the ability to work alongside other team members and groups.
• Innovative approach and strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge and experience with Laravel framework.
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming and MVC frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and database modeling. (Preferably MySQL).
• Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP API services.
• Knowledge of version control software.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, like Vue.js or React.js
