he Yerevan Center for International Education (YCIE) is an independent hub for Eurasian studies in the humanities and social sciences located in Yerevan, Armenia. Our mission is to provide a platform for education and research that welcomes students and scholars from all regions and cultures. Amid rising geopolitical tensions and increasingly closed borders we seek to sustain international scholarly contact, collaboration and dialogue, through conferences and summer schools, public lectures, research fellowships and other initiatives. Originally established in May 2022 by the European University at St Petersburg (EUSP) to host students enrolled in EUSP’s international program, YCIE became an independent institution in 2024. YCIE’s Board of Trustees is composed primarily of leading international scholars and experts in Russian and Eurasian studies. WE VALUE: - Embrace of complexity - Academic freedom - Dialogue across borders - Academic excellence
