Description The Women’s Entrepreneurship Fellowship is a five-month intensive incubation program designed to empower female entrepreneurs in Armenia. By addressing the unique barriers women face, including limited access to finance and business networks, this program provides the tools, knowledge, and community needed to transform innovative ideas into sustainable, high-impact ventures.
The Women’s Entrepreneurship Fellowship is implemented by Impact Hub Armenia Social Innovation Development Foundation, supported by the European Fund for Southeast Europe and is financed by the European Union under its EU4Business Initiative. Goal & Benefits In Armenia, women own only 28-31% of enterprises, often limited to small-scale retail due to gaps in funding and business training. This fellowship aims to bridge that gap by providing women, especially those from vulnerable backgrounds (including single mothers, displaced women, and women with disabilities), with critical financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.
The goal is to foster a supportive ecosystem where 15 selected participants can thrive alongside a community of over 350 innovators.
All participants will benefit from Impact Hub Armenia’s unique ecosystem, including:
- **Specialized Workshops: **Focused on investment readiness, business modeling, marketing strategies, and financial management.
- **Financial Literacy and Coaching: **Personalized sessions to optimize business models and explore innovative funding (crowdfunding, microloans).
- 5-Month Membership at Impact Hub Armenia: Access to an inspiring co-working space and a collaborative professional network.
- Mentorship and Peer-to-peer Learning: Expert guidance from a diverse mentor pool and group sessions to share challenges and progress.
- **Networking Events: **Three dedicated events, including a closing Demo Day with industry leaders and investors.
- **Global and Local Access: **Connection to 130+ Impact Hubs globally and the Impact Hub Armenia Alumni Network upon completion.
At the end of the program, three grants of €1,500 each will be awarded to the top teams based on their performance and final pitch.
