The global AWS community is coming to Armenia. AWS Community Day Armenia 2025, a premier event dedicated to cloud innovation and learning, will take place this year on May 24 at the American University of Armenia (AUA). AWS Community Days are community-organized cloud education events, featuring technical discussions and demos led by expert AWS local users, AWS Heroes, AWS Guest Speakers, and industry leaders from around the world. In many ways, this is an event put on "by the community, for the community."
This year’s event features a landmark moment: Jeff Barr, Vice President and Chief Evangelist of AWS, will be visiting Armenia for the first time to deliver a keynote, offering invaluable insights into the future of cloud technologies.
Joining him on the main stage is Anton Babenko, AWS Hero and Terraform expert, widely recognized for creating some of the most-used Terraform AWS modules.
The agenda will also include deep-dive technical workshop labs such as “Building Agentic Workflows on AWS,” led by experts from Amazon’s Generative AI Innovation Center, and “Building Generative AI Apps on AWS with CDK,” delivered by a local talent from Epam Systems.

The event is free to attend, but registration is required.
