Senior Manual QA Engineer
Job description
Job Description: • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases • Participation in end-to-end software development lifecycle • Estimate, prioritize and plan testing activities • Plan, schedule and perform manual software tests • Provide clear and accurate reporting on testing progress and results • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved • Release testing • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies • Balance efforts between automated and manual testing, ensuring thorough coverage of API interactions • Focus on API testing to ensure our services communicate effectively and meet all performance and reliability requirements • Work closely with development team to identify and resolve issues • Release management process, conduct post release testing and monitoring • Manage defect tracking, monitor and report results
Requirements
Required qualifications • Previous experience in manual testing software applications or performing QA activities • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases • Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes • Ability to do manual testing across multiple devices, operating system • Quick learner with an ambitious and results driven personality • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication skills and a team player • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in fast moving environment • Ability to meet short-term deadlines • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web development processes • Experience with JSON, Postman/Swagger, DevTools • Experience in testing REST APIs with Postman or other tools • Experience working with international teams • Good command of the English language • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, Pytest • Knowledge of programming languages, Python preferable
